My Grandmother

Hi, My name is Charlene. My brother found your site and sent me the web address.We're both excited to see it as we have been worrking towards knowing more about where our grandmother came from. We both desire to see Sao Jorge and I'm hoping to go there after spending a College quarter in Italy.My Grandmothers name is Maria Borges and came to America in the early 1900's. You have done a great job with creating a beautiful resource center for information on Sao Jorge.

My name is Anthony Sequeira. I live in Lowell Massachusetts. My grandmother is also from Sao Jorge. She was born in Ribeira Seca almost ninety years ago. Her name is Clara Cardoso Sequeira. She moved from Sao Jorge to Terceira where she married my grandfather Joao Sequeira. They then moved to Brasil on business where my father was born. When my father was maybe ten years old, they moved to Half Moon Bay, California. I have family all over the world, in Brasil, Terceira, Sao Jorge, San Jose California, alot of places. Hi, my name is Christopher Rodriguez my middle name is bettencourt and my grandmother is from Sao Jorge Norte Pequeno... Now fred if you haven't found out yet??...We're related just like my aunt Angela said to you.. my mother's name is Eva Bettencourt and my grandmother's name is Arnalda Mota-Bettencourt. I came across this site one day by just going to google and typing Arnalda mota and this popped up... Freaky but awesome at the same time....well ok bubii-christopher bettencourt rodriguez

Hi there, my maternal grandfather was a Bettencourt and my uncle still goes by Bettencourt whereas the rest of the family goes by Soares. My grandfather was from Santo Amaro, Sao Jorge and I still have a lot of family in Velas. If I can help you out with any info, just let me know!
