Bichos Doces

Hello, My parents were both from Velas, Sao Jorge. I live in the Us.
My mother used to make these cookies with anisette in them called bichos doces, apparently they're only known in Sao Jorge. I was wondering if anyone out there knows the recipe??? I'd REALLY appreciate it.
